Long recognised as Buckinghamshire’s premier Removal, Storage & Document archive company Clarks of Amersham now has 18 vehicles, more than 50,000 sq ft of warehouse space and over 50 employees. January - Michael & Lorraine Clark set up Clarks of Amersham operating from a makeshift office at their home in Amersham with a 3.5t Luton van
February - First job moving furniture from care home in Gerrards Cross to Amersham Auction Rooms
September - Rented our first storage space of 1000 sqft in Chesham. Bought 2nd Luton Van
April - Rented second storage space on London Road, Amersham
March - Moved from Amersham to Tylers Green – a 3000 sq. ft warehouse
April - First operators licence
May - Acquired first bespoke removal truck – a 1985 16t Bedford TK
September - Took an additional 3,000 sq. ft of storage at Tylers Green
March - Moved to a 16,000 sq. ft warehouse in Chesham
June - Started Archive Storage Service
August - Started our Warehouse ‘Pick and Pack’ Service
January - Added additional 13,000 sq. ft of storage space in Chesham
May - Awarded BSEN 12511 certification
March - Started our bespoke Kitchen Storage and Delivery Service
November - Took on additional 20,000 sq. ft of storage space in Hemel Hempstead
May - Awarded ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO Environment Management System certification
April - Moved both Chesham warehouses to current premises in Old Amersham
